גבריאל בלחסן
Gabriel Balchsan (1976-2013), Israeli artist and guitarist of former Israeli alternative rock band Algir. Born in a religious family in a small religious town by the name of Talmay Eliahu, Balchasan grew up around faith and was trained to be a cantor in a synagogue.
Due to severe mental illness including depression and manic attacks, he suffured a few mental breakdowns that lead him to undergo psychiatric hospitalization, which translated mostly to his first album "Rakavot" ("Trains").
